RA Training
Sample Training Schedules
This RA training schedule was our area/in-hall training time, which was a subset of RA training proper. I used if for a staff of 26 RAs who served in 3 separate buildings. You will see them referred to as Main Hall (a large, apartment building), Alpha Hall (a traditional-style, first-year hall), and Beta Hall (a traditional-style, mixed first year & upperclass hall).
This RA training schedule was our area/in-hall training time, which was a subset of RA training proper. I used if for a staff of 10 RAs in an upperclass, apartment-style complex that consisted of 10 separate buildings. Each RA was in charge of their separate building and did rounds through all 10 buildings while on duty. It will be referred to as HU Apartments.
HU Apartment was part of “Area One”, which was the residential area designation on campus. Area One consisted of the 2 campus apartment complexes. The other being Main Hall.
During Complex Training I did my first one-on-ones with each of my RAs, hence the names interspersed throughout the schedule.
